About Type H (SI 32)
Type H is the Israeli SI 32 standard. The original 1989 specification used three flat pins arranged in a Y; the 1989 revision moved to three round 4.5 mm pins, and current Israeli sockets accept both forms. Type H is rated 16 A at 250 V.
Modern Israeli sockets are typically universal — accepting Type C Europlugs as well as Type H. Travelers from Europe rarely need a dedicated adapter; travelers from North America need a flat-blade to round-pin Type C adapter, which works for most appliances.
Type H is essentially exclusive to Israel and the Palestinian territories. No other country has adopted it.
