Always Available Tech Support:
Three levels of technical support provide 24/7 comprehensive assistance, monitoring
and troubleshooting. Support numbers are available through a local call in every
country where Internet service is offered. The Network Management Center (NMC) is
the central control point for all of product and service offerings. Monitoring the
network 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, NMC personnel minimize downtime.
The heart of the NMC is the Network Management Facility (NMF), a suite of tools
that deliver the industry's highest-level Quality of Service (QoS) and more efficient
management of Service Level Agreements (SLA). The NMF provides real-time monitoring
of network-related issues, such as network event monitoring, as well as the management
of configuration, problems, performance and reporting. The design of the NMF includes
leading products, services and technologies from Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard,
Micromuse Inc., Quallaby Corporation, Nortel Networks and Veritas. The NMF provides
a multitude of benefits:
- Superior level of Network Management services
- Trending and QoS reporting information in a proactive manner
- Minimized downtime
Another key component of the NMC is its personnel. Trained in various aspects of
networking and systems engineering, NMC personnel are able to quickly determine
the severity of a problem, and ensure resolution through the assignment of the appropriate
response team. NMC personnel bring together a broad range of skills, garnered through
careers in the ISP and software engineering industries. This talent pool provides
invaluable experience and insight into the operation of worldwide networks. Quick
detection, diagnosis and escalation are paramount in the charter of the Network
Management Center.
