Each one of those services is available to you while you are on the road. If you are in an area with a WiFi signal, then you can connect that way, If you are in a hotel with ethernet you have that option, and anywhere you can have access to a telephone, you'll have access to the Internet.

- Internet Users that have no ISP with dialup, WiFi or Ethernet Internet access service when they travel
both domestically and Internationally.
- Cable and DSL Customers that have no dialup Internet access service when they travel
both domestically and Internationally.
- Corporate customers that only dedicated Internet access in their home or

- Dialup Internet access users who's current Internet Service Provider /

Low Cost
You will be billed on a monthly basis for your usage and receive a detailed report of all your usage emailed to you. All dialup usage is billed on a per-minute basis and WiFi and Ethernet are billed on a per-day basis; see our rates section for costs. There are no other fees besides what you use on a per minute basis. This means that travelers can enjoy Tempest Telecom whenever they roam but, not worry about paying for the service when they aren't on the road.
How It Works
Easy to user dialer
If you're using our dialer, simply download it and search for your country and city you wish to connect to. You will get a list of locations which you can narrow down to the exact city you want to connect to.
We support 3 Operating Systems :
- Windows (instructions)
- MacOS (instructions)
- and PocketPC (instructions)
Connecting is easy, users download our software, which contains all of our access numbers. With a few clicks, you can select the access number, WiFi Hotspot or Ethernet Location and connect to the Internet.
The dialer software automatically configures itself with the correct local dialing codes to connect. The software will also show you the options for connecting to the Internet via WiFi if you are interested in connecting that way as well.
If you do not have a supported Operating System, or you do not wish to use our software you can connect to our access numbers manually by first looking up the access numbers online, then configuring your system to dial in our access points.
Tempest Telecom's network will allow you to keep your existing email account. You can continue to use your existing email provider if they allow you to send email while traveling. If they don't then you can still continue to use your current email provider by using our outgoing (SMTP) mail server.
Getting Started
All you need to do is establish an account by signing up with a credit card. You can then download our easy to use connection software which will enable you to use dialup, WiFi and hotel Ethernet on a pay as you go basis. Each time you connect you either pay the low per minute rate for dialup or the daily rate for WiFi and Ethernet. At the end of the month you will receive a detailed, itemized statement showing you what service you used, where and for how long.
Unlimited Business Accounts:
Qualifying Business Customers can set up and manage unlimited user accounts at no extra charge. Simply activate as many accounts as needed. On a monthly basis you will then receive a statement detailing your employees' usage with their name.
